This is free day. We wanted to go to Yeouido, we wanted to go to Insadong, we wanted to go to Itaewon. There were still too many places we have yet to cross out from our list and there is so little time. As much as we wanted to make the most out of every day, some days still got messed up. I guess no matter how much you plan things out, they do not always materialize in the end. So, we just let our feet lead us to wherever the wind would take us.
It still amazes me how creative South Koreans are. Common Ground is basically made up of shipping containers which were turned into a mall and caters mostly the youngsters. Shying away from the likes of Zara, Forever 21 and the like, this is where you find the local brands.
Take Line 7 and take off at Konkuk University station Exit 6 and walk straight ahead for a few hundred meters, you would immediately see it on your left side because of its bright blue color.
And if you watched Infinite Showtime reality show, you’ll know this is where one of the episodes was filmed. The part when they we’re making a music video of Dongwoo where L was the director.
Ttukseom Hangang Park
The resort is located near the Hangang River perfect for biking activity. It has a very large swimming pool used during the summer season and turned into a skating rink during winter. It is a perfect place to relax and just chill.
From Common Ground, we retraced back our steps to the Line 7 station but went passed through Exit 6 until we reached Exit 7, we turned right and walked straight ahead until we reached the park. It’s a little far on foot I must say.
