My awareness to South Korea came much much later than Japan. It all stemmed out on the K-dramas in early 2000s and K-pop in late 2007 (Yep, I still remember). Before these kids today claim to be caught up with the Hallyus of today and Idols of today, we were there first. So of course, this trip wouldn’t be complete without the visit to Gangnam District.
From Wangsimni station, transfer to Bundang line and get off at Apgujeong Rodeo Exit 2 and the whole street along the Galleria Department Store is the K-star road.
And before everything else, I was an Elf (EverLasting Friends) first. Yes, I bleed Sapphire Blue. thus,
It took me awhile before I can find another bias. I’m still new at being an Inspirit, I think my new addiction pushed me to do this travel,
My cousin likes Shinee, I do too, a little.
Just in front of the SNSD and EXO Gangnamdol is the old SM Ent building. You’ll immediately see it because of the huge posters of SM Idols.
And I heard that if you take a left turn at the Block B Gangnamdol and walk further down south you’ll come across JYP Ent and a little further still is Cube Ent. We didn’t try this one but definitely we will allot an ample time on our next visit.
SM Town @COEX Artium and New SM Ent Building
As many would know, SM built a new gorgeous building. Just take Subway Line 2 and get off at Samseong station Exit 6.
If you are a fan of any of SM Ent Idols, this is the right place for you. During our visit, Shinee was having a three-day come back concert at the Sports Complex (just one station away). So definitely, they were featured in the exhibit.
Top floor of the Artium is where the exhibit hall is located. At the time of our visit, they were featuring Shinee.
What to See and What to do
